Wartime drama A Nightingale Sang to be staged by Rubery Drama Group this week

A DOMESTIC drama set in Newscastle-Upon-Tyne during the Second World War will be the latest offering from Rubery Drama Group.

And a Nightingale Sang by CP Taylor follows the Stott faily and how they deal with wartime situations over the five years of the conflict.

The show runs from Thursday, April 26, to Saturday, April 28, at Beacon Church Centre.

Performances start at 7.30pm, tickets are £7 (£6 concessions).
