‘THE SECRET Weapons that Won the War – the History of RAF Defford’ will be the subject of the next talk to be held by the Bromsgrove Society’s Local History Group.
The presentation about one of the nearest RAF stations to Bromsgrove will be given by David Vernon at 7.45pm next Tuesday (October 18) at the town’s Methodist Centre.
The station is now part of the National Trust’s Croome Park estate. David will reveal the crucial part played in the war effort by this – now long abandoned – RAF station.
