One of Ireland’s most successful artists come to the Artrix

BROMSGROVE’S multi purpose arts centre, the Artrix, will be playing host to Paul Brady for the first time.

The singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is one of Ireland’s most highly regarded and successful artists.

He crosses musical boundaries incorporating folk, rock, blues, traditional Irish and classic pop into his songwriting and his shows include material from his extensive catalogue of 40 years.

Often classified as a “musician’s musician“, his songs have been performed by Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner, Art Garfunkel, Maura O’Connell and more recently Ronan Keating.

The show will feature songs such as The Island, Crazy Dreams, The Homes of Donegal, The Long Goodbye, Paradise is Here and others which have given joy and emotional substance over the years to generations of Irish at home and abroad.

An evening with Paul Brady is a captivating experience and at this show, on May 6, he will be singing songs from his new anthology album Dancer In The Fire.

Paul’s special guest for the evening is Eleanor McAvoy.

Tickets for the show, costing £22.50, are available from the artrix box office on 01527 577330 or online at artrix.co.uk.
