Latest offering from the Fairbourne Dodders will be farcical British romp

THE LATEST offering from the Fairbourne Dodders will be farcical British romp Touch and Go by Derek Benfield, writes Kieran Kelly. The show, at Dodford Village Hall on August 18 and 19, features all the good elements of farce – secret love affairs, slamming doors and dropped trousers. It centres around Brian who, while his wife Hilary thinks he is jogging, is spending hours with his girlfriend Wendy at his good friend George’s flat. In the meantime, George is spending time with Hilary, until Jessica, George’s wife, returns unexpectedly, from a business trip to America. Performances start at 7.30pm on both nights and the play is not suitable for children. Tickets are £12, which includes supper, and the bar will open all night. The hall has disabled access. For more information, call James on 07946 715220 or 0121 447 7403.
