Chance to try flower arranging at town library

BROMSGROVE residents are being invited to try flower arranging at a demonstration being held next week.

Tricia Penney, from Peppermint Bespoke Floristry and Venue Dressing, will be demonstrating how to arrange flowers for Christmas at the demonstration being held at 11am at Bromsgrove Library, in Stratford Road, this Tuesday, December 4.

Tricia will be creating, and showing how to make, eye-catching wreaths and unusual table decorations.

She will also be offering advice on choosing and using fresh and silk flowers.

Tickets cost £1, which includes entry in a raffle to win flowers arranged by Tricia on the day.

Jas Payne, Bromsgrove Library manager, said: "Tricia came to Hagley Library earlier in the year and not only created stunning arrangements, but also filled us with the know-how and enthusiasm to go home and have-a-go ourselves.

“We're now thrilled to welcome her to Bromsgrove Library, and can't wait to see what ideas she has for Christmas arrangements."

As places are limited, it is recommended to book early to avoid disappointment.
