Bromsgrove Folk Festival is on its way

BROMSGROVE Folk Festival takes place next weekend at the Bowling Green, Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior.

On the Thursday evening, July 12, there is the Pre-Folk Festival Singin’, Suppin’ and Session.

There is an eclectic music session in the pub and/or an acoustic night in the mini marquee.

That event starts at 8pm and is free.

Next Friday afternoon, July 13, will feature sets by Robin Laing, Barlow Cree and others and the night concert features resident band Fairfield, Anthony John Clarke, Barlow Cree and Cosmotheka.

The pub opens at midday.

Mini marquee concerts start at 2pm and main marquee at 7pm.

Next Saturday, July 14, from 7.30pm, there will be sets by MumboJumbo, Robin Laing, Ursula Holden Gill and Demon Baber XL.

And next Sunday everything is free, including the walk in the morning, the brunchtime fun in the mini marquee and singin’ and suppin’ with Stitherum in the main marquee, the World Foam Flinging Championships, Step on Board and the Festival Finale.

Full weekend tickets (excluding camping) are £48 and individual concert tickets are £28 for all-day Friday, £22 after 7pm and £34 for all-day Saturday, £15 up to 7pm or £22 after 7pm.

Camping is £22 per unit.
