Literature at the Outbreak of World War Two – with Steve Ellis
Steve Ellis is a Professor of English Literature at The University of Birmingham. His publications include works on Chaucer, Dante, Virginia Woolf and T S Eliot and he is also a fine poet. In 1994 his Yorkshire dialect translation of Date's "Infrno" was published. He will speak to "Words" about literature at the beginning of World War Two. Professor Ellis has kindly offered to give two lectures to local Sixth Forms supported by "Words"
