The Orchestra of St John and Chorus perform three exhilarating works: the stirring anthem 'Zadok the Priest', written by Handel for the coronation of George II, Mozart's celestial Ave Verum Corpus, together with Beethoven's Choral Fantasia for Chorus, solo voices, piano and orchestra. Soloist Benjamin Frith plays Beethoven's first piano concerto, and the concert ends with Beethoven's joyous 8th symphony.
