Named after a mysterious, mythical hotel and based in Birmingham, UK, The Grondo Palace Blues Band celebrate and play excellent music from a while ago.
GPBB was formed in 2023 when a group of 5 (recently?) retired musicians found solace in a shared love of great blues-based music from yesteryear, and an opportunity to spend time away from the demands of daily life to recreate some of the magic that music still holds. If your (preferably vinyl) record collection includes timeless classic albums by the likes of The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Santana, The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as a sprinkling of the original 50s/60s soul and rock & roll that first inspired them, then we are the band for you !!
