REFRESH:Rubery

New Road, Rubery

A day of creative fun for EVERYONE in the heart of the village

Join us for a fun day of free creative activities for all the family on New Road, Rubery. We welcome young performers from Beaconside and Holywell Primary Schools, pavement artists from Rubery Youth Club plus parents, carers and pre-schoolers from Rubery Library’s Bounce and Rhyme Group. Richardz Dance Studio will be leading adult formation dance and a fun Zumba session for all to join in! Local favourites Madcap Theatre will be taking time out from their nationwide tour of ‘As You Like It’ to present pop-up Shakespeare in some surprising places throughout the day. St Chad’s Church will be hosting their Craft Fair and Beaconside Primary are launching the day with a creative Colour Run in the park! During the Bromsgrove Festival period Rubery shops and businesses play host to The Great Art Hunt. Children are challenged to find all the works of art displayed in local shops and public buildings. Art works have been created by school children and artists from Rubery Art Group. Entry forms can be collected from Rubery Library, St Chad’s Church and primary schools. REFRESH Rubery is organised for Bromsgrove Festival by Make/Do Creative with support from Bromsgrove District Council.
