Jestaminute Theatre Company – Engineering the Past (for two days)

FORGE MILL Museum Redditch 

'Engineering the Past' – a project exploring the industrial heritage of Redditch 1939-1964  by Jestaminute Community Theatre and funded by the Heritage Lottery.

A living exhibition featuring a series of linked readings created by Andy Higgitt and delivered by community members, including the U3A. The readings  tell stories of working lives in Redditch 1939-1964 and are based on the oral testimonies collected as part of the Heritage Lottery funded 'Engineering the Past ' project run by Jestaminute Community Theatre c.i.c.Performance times: 11.30 am  & 2 pm each day   plus a drop in ‘Preserving Living History’ Family Workshop  session all day and an exhibition showing  how we collected & used the stories of people who worked at the HDA , Royal Enfield,  Terry’s, BSA and  more . ALL  FREE!!! ( normal optional museum entry rates apply)
