Handprint Pottery – The Big Throw for Charity

On the 21st of April Nancy Frost of Handprint Pottery will undertake 'The Big Throw' at the Jinney Ring Craft Centre.  She has challenged herself to throw 100 pots in a day to raise money for Dig Deep, a charity which works to provide clean water and renewable energy in East Africa.  She hopes to find 100 people willing to sponsor her for 5p per pot, to reach her goal of raising £500 on the day.

If you'd like to sponsor Nancy, please email her (nancyfrost [at] talktalk [dot] net). Better yet, come along from 10:00 on the day and watch her attempt to make more pots in a day than she usually makes in a week!

Nancy's daughter Rosie, whose work with the charity Nancy is supporting with this event, will also be there, selling her own craft work and talking to people about the project.  Additionally, there will be a badge-making craft activity for children (of all ages).
