Artist Statement
“I have always been fascinated by textiles, a media I have worked in over the years, alongside my mixed 
media painting. This fascination has guided me towards a more textural, abstract approach to my painting. I use various materials on the canvas, which are transformed by the paint applied to them, giving a richness and depth to the canvas surface, and to the painted image.”
