Bromsgrove Concerts – Jenkinson-Frith Duo

Richard Jenkinson is very well known to local audiences in many capacities – especially as principal cello of the CBSO, as a member of the Dante Quartet and as Music Director of the Orchestra of St John. Benjamin Frith has appeared locally as a concerto soloist and as a member of the Gould Piano Trio. Their duo partnership dates back to 1996 and their first CD as a duo, “The Moon Sails Out”, released in 2015, includes the three Ian Venables pieces they will be playing for us.

Single tickets cost £18. Concessionary tickets for registered disabled patrons, unemployed people and all students cost £5. Young people aged 8 to 25 can be admitted free of charge thanks to the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
