The Dante String Quartet have featured many times in our concerts including the memorable Shostakovich weekend 2018. The Venables work is an important piece which we enjoyed once before and the Beethoven late quartet remains as brilliant as ever, this time with the rarely performed Finale as a replacement for the normal Grosse Fuge.
