Welcome back to the Callino Quartet, who last came to us in 2009. The two John Woolrich works are part of his current 'project' – 'A Book of Inventions' – a collection of ten short string quartets which can be played individually or in combination. The Callino gave the first performance of 'Scamander' at the Barber Institute in May 2019. John has also been involved in the selection of the Mozart and Beethoven works to frame his quartet
