Bromsgrove Arts Alive – Autumn Fair

Bromsgrove Arts Alive's annual showcase of the work of its talented members will be held at North Bromsgrove High School on Saturday 20th October from 10.30am to 3.00pm

In addition to the stalls demonstrating the many activities that there are in the Bromsgrove area ranging from amateur dramatics, poetry, choral singing, amateur operatics, folk dancing, etc., there will be craft stalls exhibiting and selling pottery, jewellery, bespoke cushions…..many of which will be available for purchase from the many talented local crafts people who made them.

And, if that wasn't enough, whilst all this is going on there will be stage performances from Bromsgrove Folk Club's resident band, Fairfield, local Appalachian Step Dancers, Step on Board, both Chaddesley Strings and Chaddesley Junior Strings, trash percussionists, Glamba, Blackwell Concert Band and Artrix young theatre group Stage It!

The day will culminated with THE BIG SING when all present will be invited to take to the state to form a mass choir to sing popular songs accompanied by musicians from North Bromsgrove High Scholl under the direction of Steve Cowperthwaite. Proceeds from the Big Sing, participants will be asked to make a donation for the pleasure of performing, will go to local charities supported by Councilor Janice Boswell who will be on hand to both encourage and participate.
