The Gift of Life (John Rutter)

Born in 1978, Gjeilo exploded onto the choral scene in 2007, and his Sunrise Mass has won widespread acclaim and popularity. Accompanied by string orchestra, the Mass is an amalgamation of cinematic and classical influences. John Rutter's latest work, The Gift of Life, was composed in August 2015 and is a six-movement choral celebration of the living earth and its creation. It is accompanied by a chamber ensemble of piano, organ, harp and percussion.
