    Iolanthe

    Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe is a fanciful comedy of witty and waggish dialogue, gorgeous music, rousing choruses and enchanting characters in a fairy tale of love, politics and misunderstandings. This vibrant production, with traditional music, involving fairies and members of the House of Lords will hold huge appeal for all.

    Christine's handmade enamelled jewellery will be for sale in the marquee at the 25th Spring Open Day.

    The nature reserve is half a mile off the main Worcester-Pershore Road, along the Besford/Croome Road (turn right where you see the sign welcoming you to Pershore)

    Enigma String Quartet

    This ever popular quartet offer an evening of Impressionistic music with English and French influence. A delightful mix of tuneful and melodic pieces - some familiar, some less well known. Our travels include work from folk through to opera, and possibly a few surprises along the way.

    Rubery Drama Group have obtained a special licence form Samuel French Limited to produce the Chekov classic "The Cherry Orchard" in a translation by Michael Frayn. Michael Frayn is fluent in Russian and has translated all of the Chekov masterpieces.

    Woodman Folk For Steve

    The Bowling Green Inn, Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior, B60 4BH

    The next concert in the series Folk For Steve which is being arranged to raise funds to provide facilities for Steve Onley, dedicated Bromsgrove Folk Club committee member, who is now paralysed from the chest down after a spinal strike.

    Artists from The Woodman Folk Club in Kingswinford will be providing the entertainment - which is FREE - however there will be a raffle and a BIG ucket for you donations to this thoroughly worthwhile cause.
