    Christine will be displaying and selling her original kiln-fired enamelled jewellery at The Fold's popular monthly market which will be open from 10.00am till 2.00pm

    This is a regular monthly covered market, something of a mixture of craft and farmers market. 'The Fold'  Bransford, near Worcester, is a craft and holistic therapy centre.

    In am returning to this folk festival for the second time, it takes place in the Civic Centre. The craft fair is on Saturday only, and is open to the public as well as festival- goers. Refreshments are available. The fair ends at 4pm.

    Adrian Boult hall (Birmingham Conservatoire). 

    Bands featuring are the West Mercia police band, Band of the West Midlands fire service, and Blackwell Concert Band, and there'll be a massed band finale (Last Night of Proms-style music) to round off the evening,  Joanne Malin, TV/radio news presenter, is compere for the evening.

    The one woman tornado that is Lucy Ward comes back to Bromsgrove. We were one of the earliest clubs to take a chance on Lucy because we recognized the star quality of the then 19 year old. Since then she has taken the folk world by storm, been nominated for best original song at the BBC2 Folk Awards and won the Horizon Best Newcomer Award. Don't expect a quiet evening from one of the scene's soft voiced female performers. This girl will grab you by the throat and take you on an emotional roller coaster. Here recent performance at Moira Furnace Folk Festival had the audience on their feet baying for more. Pity the poor MC who had to tell them that there wasn't time. That unfortunate MC was me by the way and in minutes I became the most unpopular person at the Festival!

    Enjoy watching the crackling bonfire being lit and join in with special bonfire songs.

    Older children and adults can enjoy lighting sparklers followed by a warming hot chocolate. Due to the nature of the site we are unable to have fireworks, but this does mean no frightening bangs for little children.
