    THE Tippett Quartet, comprising John Mills and Jeremy Isaac, Julia O’Riordan and Bozidar Vukotic, will be making a welcome return to Bromsgrove’s Artrix.

    Presented by Bromsgrove Concerts the programme will include Mozart’s String Quartet in G, Beethoven’s String Quartet in C and a less familiar work – Robert Simpson’s String Quartet No 11.

     

     

    The concert, on Friday, January 18, starts at 8pm with tickets costing £16 from the venue box office on 01527 577330 or on-line at www.artrix-tickets.co.uk

    The cost for disabled, unemployed and full time students over the age of 25 is £6 and people between the ages of eight and 25 can see it for free (thanks to the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust).

    The Club's Christmas Party will have as its theme this year.....The Olympics! (What else could it be) Fancy dress based on that theme is optional. Music will be provided by the Club's resident band, Fairfield and of course, as is tradition, The Band of The Salvation Army. It is anticipated that odd (and we do mean odd!) luminaries in the folk world will also contribute to the festive frolics.

    Free hot sausage rolls and mince pies will be available
