    Richard Strauss: Sonatina No. 2 for 16 wind instruments in E flat major ("Happy Workshop"), Op. 143

    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Serenade No. 10 for winds in B flat major, K. 361/370a (“Gran Partita”) for thirteen instruments; twelve winds and string bass.

    Avoncroft Arts Society, Redditch Road, Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove B60 2JR (Beware if using Sat Nav to find us -we share our postcode with Avoncroft Museum!! Don’t follow the brown road signs! You will see our entrance sign on the Redditch Road (by the pedestrian traffic lights) just go down the drive and we are at the bottom)

    Members of the Society will be showing their work in the Main Hall and other buildings. Included will be not only paintings, but pottery, photography, textiles  sugarcraft and more...Come along and find out about what goes on here. ADMISSION is FREE and there will be demonstrations and information about the wide variety of classes which take place both in the daytime and evening. The resident Artist Richard Crabtree and Enamelled Jewellery Designer/Maker Christine Harmer will be opening their on site studios over the weekend. You can get involved in activities suitable for all ages, such as cup making (£1) and silk painting (various charges from £3). Refreshments will be available.

    An innovative production of one of Britten’s finest operas from the ghost story by Henry James, by  installation artist Marina Sossi and Susie Self , with mime artist and singers from The Royal College of Music.  This ghostly thriller is an all-female production, first performed in Norfolk in July 2013.
