Annual Lickey Hills Arts Society exhibition to take place next Saturday

Sun 1 Oct 2017

THIS YEAR’S annual exhibition by the Lickey Hills Arts Society takes place next Saturday, October 7, at Longbridge Methodist Church, Bristol Road South.

The collection, which is available to view between 10am and 4pm, boasts more than 100 original paintings in a variety of mediums.

All of the works are for sale and, as part of the exhibition, members of the society will be demonstrating their skills in watercolour, acrylic, pastel and oils throughout the day. They will also be on hand to talk to those who go along about their work and the group itself.

As well as group members showcasing their work, this is the fourth year non-members have been able to submit paintings.

A spokesperson for the exhibition said the pictures illustrated what a wealth of artistic talent there was locally.

Admission is 50p for adults and free for accompanied children.

There will also be coffee and cake on sale.
